Healthy Campus is a University-sponsored initiative that ties academic success to healthy student behaviors within a sound, safe environment. A number of initiatives and programs have been implemented to help our students achieve optimal wellness which increases the opportunities for academic and personal success, as well as retention.
The focus of Healthy Campus includes alcohol; eating disorders and body image; mental health; nutrition, fitness and sleep; sexual health; sexual violence prevention and tobacco and other drug prevention. Currently, five teams address these priority health areas. Each team is comprised of faculty, staff, and students. We encourage faculty and staff to join a team to address initiatives; current concerns and issues, and monitor the status of ongoing programs. For more information, click here.
